HOW TO DONATE AND SPONSOR A CHILD
Fence At The Top is a dynamic, new comprehensive mentoring program, aimed at bringing together students from elementary school through high school with educators, families, businesses, retired sports professionals, and the community to assist youths in developing decision-making skills and methods to attain their goals. With a proactive approach of intercepting at-risk, troubled, and neglected youth at the top of the hill before they fall, Fence At The Top aims to provide guidance through on and off-campus programs during school hours and the summer months.
As Executive Director and a retired NFL player for the New England Patriots and New York Giants, I can clearly credit school and sports programs as vital, key factors in contributing to my success and my gaining a better understanding of how to fit in society. Through my participation in football, I was able to earn a college scholarship and go on to get my degree from the University of the Pacific.
Fence At The Top aims to provide a haven for our youth, instilling them with a purpose and a focus through mentoring sessions, sports and health programs, field trips, motivational speakers, tutoring, employment search, and community service. All activities highlight a chosen daily principle: responsibility, goal-setting skills, sportsmanship, self-control, teamwork, leadership and perseverance among others, while targeting education and life skills. This will assist them to rise above their particular social or economic circumstances, while motivating them to raise their grades students will become productive citizens, able to mentor the next generation, graduate from high school, and aspire to attend college.
As our mission statement says, "We build a fence at the top of the hill rather than a hospital at the bottom." Fence At The Top seeks to be proactive rather than reactive.
We can only accomplish this by accepting every youth who would like to participate in our program, and through a partnership with local professionals and the community. We need your help. The cost per child is $ 300.00 per year. Examples of what sponsorship donations can yield are:

Each sponsor who donates $5000 or more will receive passes to our annual Super Bowl party, February 7, 2009, and our annual Celebrity Open Golf Tournament August 20, 2009. Please review the attached sponsorship package. All donations are tax deductible.
